These include, but are not limited to, OC (Original Campaign) Castle Levels, Outdoor Adventures/Levels, City Levels/Encounters (wide and varied), Specials (OC information dealing with personages, places, PCs and their holdings, monsters, gods, demi-gods, magic, spells, artifacts, and do include several set-piece encounters as well in different adventure categories (Castle, City, Outdoor and Special (i.e., planar, dimensional, et al). Each project will vary in length, sometimes considerably so. Original note scans where needed will be included with each and every product offering as well as remastered, colorized maps (where needed) and scans of the original colorized maps. In some cases no remastering of the maps will be needed. In these cases only the original scanned map will be included, unless there is an alternative need for a player map as well. I have spent most of the past week organizing the various files on this, which number at least 300 and include 40+ maps (various dungeon, outdoor, cavernous, and special), map partials and notes for many more. My Redbook™, ostensibly remade through digital files scanned of the originals by Paul Stormberg and Martin Wright (may he rest in peace) prior to me auctioning/selling these to sustain the company in its earliest stage, is the source of the majority of material extant. Castle El Raja Key™ will also be released in this line, but in bound books, but see more on that in its separate forum. Lord of Dimensions

I can't wait to see what is coming around the bend on this. Keep up the good work and the high spirits Rob.

I've been going through some old Dragon Magazines (finally got the CD Archive) and noticed EGG announcing (years ago, of course) that you were working on a map for the City of Greyhawk. I suppose the city is his property and I also suppose other projects got in the way of publishing that material, but I was wondering if any representation of Greyhawk (under some other name -- like "Dunfalcon") might be forthcoming from you. I seem to recall you saying that the recent WoTC rendition of the city really had nothing to do with the original. I (like many others I imagine) are kind of interested in that original. BTW: How did your class go? The one where you were integrating fantasy authors into? OK. Back in 1988, just before Creations Unlimited ended a 3-year run, I contracted out to New Infinities Publications, INC through TRIGEE, then newly formed, both of them. NIPI was Gary's first endeavor to continue publishing after leaving T$R. They published some good stuff (my fave, The City of Baldemar by Bob Blake), etc. Gary contacted me about doing the city and castle in new names and forms (Dunfalcon Castle; and the City of Falcondun), and of course he has used the former name in its most recent incarnation. NIPI had some problems and was showing signs of not continuing when I was about 1/3 of the way finsihed with the City. Thus ended that stint, and maps were returned to him from me; but I still maintain a file MS on the City as then completed. Some of his Yggsburg outline seemed vaguely familiar in places but I have not compared the two, and there isn't a need to a I was paid for my services and all of it remains TRIGEE's (or now, I guess, Gygax Games) property. Now this doesn't really answer your question, though. Will I ever consider doing my own version of the City in whole? Doubtful. But if you could guarantee 500 pre-sales of this, then I might conside it, as it would take a year to design. Large projects outside of fiction are not my want to do anymore, as I have been involved with so many. And It will be a surprise to me if I can get all published that I want published in this line without doing the City, which would put 6-8 other projects back doing it. I am considering synopsizing areas that are incomplete, or only partials, however, and this from memory, perhaps as notation like entries as free PDFs available on our website, and that might include the City as well. Answer: he doesn't have time either way. Oh well . . . sounds like my RPG budget will be allocated to your other great products in any event. As for the class (thanks for asking), it was probably my best experience as a teacher so far. It wound up being pretty small (I think due to its course number) and, due to that, we were actually able to meet in the pub about 1/3 of the time -- that's the ideal place for learning, in my mind: people exchanging ideas over beer, not feeling threatened, etc. The reading list was this: Sept 8 Introduction: What is fantasy and why might it matter? I am impressed, of course, by the many CAS, HPL and especially REH materials included. Perhaps next time "The Bottle Imp" by Robert Louis Stevenson? Just re-reading it, of course... Well, let's see, Yes, Cities. So many. City of Brass, City of Greyhawk (uh, Falcondun), Lost City of the Elders. All those friggin' (erh, I mean "Nice") maps... Cities are way more complicated and time consuming to design than an average adventure of the same length, at least in my opinion, and that is if as a dsigner you are doing it justice and not just throwing down garbage and calling it a living, interactive community. My CoB original ms was 89,000 words, and just TONS of maps. Just conceptualizing all of this and then knitting all of it parts together took several years when the pencils and pens and keyboard started fluttering and the ole drawing board came out. Projects of this type, at least for me, do justice to the phrase, "Writers love having written, but hate writing..." RJK Lord of Dimensions

So we should expect these in what - two, maybe three weeks? Just kidding, of course. I well know the pressures of having so much writing on one's plate, so you definitely have my sympathies. One of my favorite top 5 all time fave movies. Well, it's like this: Yes, there are 40. but some are the size of the Living room, some the size of D&A, some the size of the Stalk, then there are others larger, and then there are HUGE ones, and everything in between and beyond. Demonworld is going to be a "riot," as is the ORCKY Level and the City SEWERS. I figure that I'll get the cream out over 3 years at at rate of 7-10 per year and then if it looks dismal to finish the remaining parts, partials, etc., then I'll pdf/CD these perhaps, or just plod along getting out as much as possible. I am really intent on making this my Magnum Opus in FRP, though, and am dead serious about getting all of the EXCELLENT material that has been lingering for so many years finally into G-Hawkers' hands. I'm on overdrive with this thing, really, and have the team hyped on it too. Just ask Ed, Eric, even Andy Taylor, who has already done some illos. Eric was over here appreciating not only Andy's work, but an illo that Ed Kann did for the series--top notch. It only inspires me to write more each day seeing so many people ready and going.
