Snout? Human looking? Or was he one of those flat nosed breeds? Seriously, was Quij an "associate" of one these known orc tribes mentioned in the Monster Manual? Vile Rune (Which rune? Tribe mentioned present in Bone March) Bloody Head Death Moon (Which moon? Tribe mentioned present in Bone March) Broken Bone Evil Eye Leprous Hand Rotting Eye Dripping Blade Orcs of the Pomarj (From WoG heraldry) Or was it an unknown tribe?

We had to do tallies of costs and and extract the totals from our gold reserves; and the tallies were inspectable by EGG at any time, and penalties would be assessed if we were caught fudging the numbers.

I've never played where I was in a position to have more than a couple henchmen under my employment. I agree with Gene wholeheartedly and without reserve! The apsect of campaign-play is the potatoes of the meat and potatoes of D&D. Missing that, you've never experienced one of the game's fullest and finest apsects.

He was only 14th level, as opposed to the 23rd level necessary to "settle down", but he actually built it as a place to keep his "stuff" and as a refuge when he angered other characters/beings... which happened. It was usually manned by a small group of merecenary fighters and Kato. I can't remember the exact locality--somewhere far west I believe...
