Dave, who I talked to by phone just a week ago, has taken a turn for the worse health-wise, as noted at the thread above.
He was in very good spirits when I talked with him then and said that the cancer might allay itself with the treatment and that he was expecting 1, maybe, 2 more years.

Sorry and Sad news. My thoughts and well wishes as always go out to him and to his family.

If anyone hears anymore news, please post here.

I saw Dave just two weeks ago. We talked about the time he and I helped playtest the Monk.

Let's hope that monk isn't dual wielding.

I'm going to focus on how chipper Dave was when he spoke with Rob and hope that this is just a complication of his treatment, which his good spirits will help lift him out of. I dearly hope Dave experiences the least pain possible given his situation and recovers quickly. God speed, Dave!

Mike, since you're up there, do you have any idea where the community could send their best wishes to?

Hmm, its seems that the news was released without the family's permission.

As this has promulgated far and wide by now (it was on James Mishler's Blog this morning).

If I had known then what was posted later I never would have noted this ill news here.
