I just ordered this critter to accompany my pre-order from last year.
Rob, I'm looking forward to this. I'm missing the start of Sunday School to insure I got my order in, if that gives you an idea how excited I am about this product. |

Thanks, L! Nice to hear that pleasure came first.
It's a good adventure for those with guts, who are tough and who don't mind a fight. Thinkers beware, as this is Escape From New York time... RJK

Now, I didn't miss Sunday School! I was just late! I got ribbing at the church dinner afterwards too! Rob, in the future, would you be willing to start
such things Sunday afternoon?

Wish I could, but it would have been Saturday, actually if Sat. had not fallen on Valentines day.
Still early whatever the day, so that the Aussies and other folks in that time zone have a bearable time in which to order. Thanks L! RJK

Thanks, as it's a fine adventure, though a meat-grinder and a challenge. You will be getting a taste of what the Original LGTSA members got as they flung
themselves into the wilds of the GH outdoor. Heh.
Jedi--we got your order for the Stalk less than an hour ago and it will be mailed separately as your preorder was sent with about 40 others yesterday.

Rob, I mistyped you email address in PayPal on Sunday.
This goes to show that nothing good comes out of missing church on Sunday!!! |

Heh. Ah, but you were lucky enough to discover it, so in the end there's a silver lining in that cloud, one with as high of a reach as the Stalk's
top, perhaps?

Well, I ordered the Stalk and also threw up a notice for it in the Classifieds
& Advertising section of Triple Oak Leaf forums.

Thanks CptCanuck, rather gracious of you.
As far as updating existing information on my deep involvement 1972 onward with the Original Greyhawk Campaign and materials spawned from that in either published, unpublished or forum notation form, that is in part being handled through a cataloging of my works based in part, but duly expanded, on/from my old bibliography that Grodog had previously published both at his site and at CANONFIRE! I'm hoping to get this done within the next 2 months, but is is an extensive project due to the massive amount of information, the articles that will accompany it, the need for sorting through a wide variety of sources and the format that it is being organized into. There will be updates as we proceed. Thanks for the interest; and you have a very nifty site. RJK

Rob, I just received The Stalk today, ahead of the pre-orders you mailed first! I am looking forward to reading it, just as soon as I can make time for it!
Thanks, it looks interesting.

You got The Stalk that we mailed at midnight 2 days later than the preorder which preceeded it? Now there's the USPS for you. Strange.
Hope you enjoy, L. RJK

Rob, I had a chance to read The Stalk yesterday. It is weird and amazing. I would have never come up with such an unique, at least to me, idea.
Worth the money. One question, would you elaborate on what slant represents on the map? Thanks. Oh, and I got the pre-order today. |

First Stalk Errata | ||
|
Well that's going to end up in the errata. The areas with the dull grey in them (represented on the map as globular patterns) denote a rising or falling
slant, which given the
short stretches of each area, means an acute (60 degree-90 degree) upturn or downturn. They can safely be ignored for play sake as they are there to make travel more severe fr the party (as if that wasn;t already the case). And yes, it is a weird adventure, but do consider the source... RJK
