In room #4 I made the succubus become flesh and blood and summon a Vrock! I kept the cupids metal, but turned them into Guardian Effigy's from Kenzer's Dangerous Denzions. I also turned Sarcophagus #8 into a spiked pit trap.
The PC's entered #4 very catiously. Each 5' step they checked for traps. I seem to recall you stating that the CAS1 and CAS2 module codes meant that the modules were in homage to Clark Ashton Smith and maybe even vaguely inspired by some poems of his. Am I making this up in my head or do I remember aright, and can you elaborate? Thanks!

Please don't take this as condemnation of the adventure, but I was quite surprised at the amount of magic in the Cairn. In one room (I won't say which one to prevent spoilers) there are no less than 9 magic weapons, two magic shields and a set of magic armor. The encounter is tough, but isn't this a little much?
